Myrtle M. (Hebert) Caban 79 of Lowell passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus with her son Keith by her side on March 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with her extended illnesses.
She was born in Lowell on January 3, 1936 daughter to the late Henry and Myrtle (Ferron) Hebert. She received her education in the Lowell school system.
She is survived by a brother Ronald of Haverhill. Three sons, Edward of Hudson NH, Kenneth and his wife Paula of Dracut, and Keith of Lowell. An extended family including but not limited to several grand children and great grand children along with many cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter Sherry in 1991.
Myrtle had an infectious smile that everyone loved and commented about. She was an avid Cribbage player along with pokeno and bingo. For a great many years she was the secretary/receptionist at the Renaissance Club receiving awards and certificates for her work. She also worked as a volunteer at the bingo hall at St. Patrick's school Lowell. Myrtle also waitressed at the Blue Moon Club on Wood St. in Lowell just to name a few of her many jobs.
