Dracut - Mortimer T. Pulsifer, 92, widow of Rose (Leclair) Pulsifer, a Dracut resident, died Monday November 8, at a local nursing home.
He was born in Lowell on June 18, 1912 a son of the late Elmer and Winnifred (Sheehan) Pulsifer.
Mr. Pulsifer has served in the Navy during WWII, and retired from Joan Fabrics as a dyer.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut, and was a member of the Westford Sportsman Club, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters in law, Ernie and Mary Pulsifer of Lowell, Roger Pulsifer of Chelmsford, and Stu and Dorothy Dauteuil of Dracut; three sisters, Mary Leddy of Nashua, Kate Waterworth of Chelmsford, Alice Gargan of Tewksbury; a son in law Justin Reardon of Lowell; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Mary Reardon, father in law of the late Agnes Pulsifer, and brother of the late Elmer Pulsifer, Edward Pulsifer, Greg Nison, Winifred Roy, Helen Fergerson, and Esther Byer.
