Mitchell O. "Mike" Stec, age 69, a Lowell resident, died on Saturday March 17, 2012 following a period of declining health.
He was born in Lowell on November 4, 1942, a son of the late Mitchell and Rita (Mercier) Stec.
Mike was a Vietnam veteran having served in the Navy from 1962 to 1966, attaining the rank of ETN 3.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a navigation engineer.
He is survived by his brother William Stec of Lothian, MD.
