Mildred C. Sayer

Mildred C. (Betty) Sayer, 95, died on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Vantage Health and Rehab of Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman W. Sayer, Sr., with whom she was married to for 65 years, until his passing in 2015.

Born in Newark, NJ on October 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Lorea (Tremblay) and Philip Betty. Mildred worked as a tester for Raytheon for many years. Following retirement, Mildred and Norman especially enjoyed babysitting their nine grandchildren.

Mildred was a communicant of St. Michael Church.

Mildred is survived by her three sons and their wives, Norman W., Jr. and Cordae (McDonough) of Merrimack, NH, James L. and Denise (Lefebvre) of Litchfield, NH and David H. and Donna (Agostino) of Lowell; nine grandchildren, Kim, Keri, Brett, Matthew, Nathan, David, Catherine, Christina and Stephanie; seven great-grandchildren, Aeden, Jameson, Thomas, Zoey, Livia, Emmalyn and Gavin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mildred’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 9:15 until 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Michael Church, Lowell. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
