Michelle L. (Heath) Mahoney

Michelle L. (Heath) Mahoney, age 54, a longtime resident of Lowell passed away peacefully following an illness on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of John S. Mahoney, to whom she was married for 27 years.

She was born in Lowell on January 5, 1968, and was the daughter of Dave and Joyce (Santos) Heath of Lowell. She received her education in Lowell schools.

Michelle was formerly employed as a LPN for the Groton Dunstable High School. In addition she was part owner of Wood Brothers Florist in Lowell where she also worked.

She enjoyed reading and cooking however, raising her adoring children and spending time in their company was her greatest joy in life.

In addition to her husband and parents, Michelle is survived and will be dearly missed by her three children, Joseph Mahoney, Elizabeth Mahoney and Jacqueline Mahoney, all of Lowell; her three brothers, David Heath of Virginia Beach, VA, Bobby Heath of Lowell and Derek Heath and his wife Erin of Lowell; her mother-in-law, Peggy (Wood) Mahoney of Lowell; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, Megan and Michael Crowe, Elizabeth and Daniel Hines, all of Lowell and Richard Kiluk of Dracut; her dear friend, Sue Callery of Lowell; several aunts, including aunt Donna (Heath) Gonsalves of Lowell, and several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a sister-in-law of the late Jane (Mahoney) Kiluk.

It being her wish, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 144 E. Merrimack St. in Lowell. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michelle's memory to The Salvation Army, 150 Appleton St., Lowell, MA 01852.
