Michelle R. Deschene

Michelle R. Deschene, of Westford, died unexpectedly Saturday February 28, 2009 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was 49.

Born in Lowell on January 3, 1960, she was the beloved daughter of Barbara Hanney-Deschene of Lowell, and the late Andre Gilbert "Gil" Deschene.

As a young girl, Michelle enjoyed all kinds of sports and team activities, especially bowling. She also loved music and movies. Michelle was a person with a big heart and was happiest while spending time at family gatherings.

Surviving her besides her mother and her mother's companion, Sonny Greenhalge of Lowell, are a brother Kevin Deschene of Lowell; four sisters and two brothers in law, Darlene Rodier of Litchfield, NH, Karen Coan of Litchfield, NH, Kimberly and David Thompson, Laurie and Brien Rondeau all of Lowell; uncles and aunts, Gerald and Dorothy Deschene, James Milinazzo, Joan and John Dowling, Patricia Hanney, all of Lowell; several nephews and nieces, including Cassidy Foley and Jake Rondeau, who were very dear to her heart and many cousins; and a longtime friend, Rick Clarke of Lowell. She was a sister of the late Sharon Deschene and Gilbert Deschene, sister in law of the late Curtis A. Rodier, aunt of the late Meadow Rondeau, and niece of the late Shirley Milinazzo.
