Michael J. Patenaude

LOWELL- Michael Joseph Patenaude, 65, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a valiant struggle with a brief medical condition.

Born in Lowell on March 25, 1950, he was a son of the late Alfred J. Patenaude and Ruth M. (Garland) Patenaude.

Mike attended Lowell High School and The University of Massachusetts at Lowell. For more than 25 years, he was employed by W. R. Grace as a manufacturing manager. Most recently Mike was was the owner and operator of ChemPack Associates in Lowell.

Michaels' favorite pastimes were boating at his favorite Lake Winnipesaukee, skiing the White Mountains, and traveling through out the Southwest. He also enjoyed history, antiques and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mike was known as a quiet man with a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca R. (Patenaude) Duclos of Weare, NH, Michael J. Patenaude Jr. and his wife, Jessica of Litchfield, NH; Christopher A. Patenaude of Hudson, NH and Amanda M. Patenaude of Lowell, MA; his grandchildren; Madison G. Duclos, Carter S. Duclos, Noah M. Patenaude, Samantha M. Patenaude and Gabrielle R. Patenaude; his brothers David Garland of Lebanon, ME; John A. Patenaude and his wife, Gale (Welch) Patenaude of Dracut; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
