LOWELL - Michael C. Gendreau, age 66, a longtime resident of Lowell died unexpectedly on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on July 10, 1955, and was a son of the late Raymond J. and Doris M. (Ciesla) Gendreau. He received his education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School.
Michael was a very talented person with a passion for music like his brother and father before him. He played the guitar and violin, which he restored himself. He also enjoyed tinkering, whether it be fixing electronics, restoring furniture, or whatever else he put his hands on. Mike was also very artistic, enjoying drawing, sketching, and often designing cards for his loved ones.
He will be remembered for his kindheartedness. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was also the brother of the late Ronald Gendreau and is survived by his three sisters, Kathleen Villemaire and her husband George of Hudson, Judith Gendreau of Aiken, SC, and Nancy Gendreau of Fayetteville, NC.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's Funeral Service on Saturday, March 12th at 10:00am the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
