Michael James Conley, age 51, passed away after a short illness in Ashland, KY on Friday, July 8, 2022.He was born in Lowell on March 11, 1971, and was the beloved son of Pauline Conley and the late James E Conley. Michael grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell public Schools. He moved to Kentucky in 2008 where he achieved his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Ashland Community and Technical College in Kentucky. He recently worked at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY in the environmental services department and had started an online marketing business. Growing up he loved playing his heavy metal cassettes on his boombox, his long hair, roller-skating with friends, breakdancing, and drawing. He also enjoyed playing video games with his kids, trips to the zoo and amusement parks, apple picking and playing his guitars. He was a fun guy who liked to tell jokes including the occasional dad joke. Michael was a very sensitive, emotional, and caring guy. He was always there for anyone and gave everything he could. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. Michael is survived by his children, Aiden, Kayleigh, Rebecca, and their mother Jennifer Shea in Kentucky. His children were his whole world. He was always so proud of them and everything they did. He would talk about their school achievements, sports, and dance recitals. Michael is also survived by his oldest son, Joshua of MA. He leaves his sister Kathleen Schlaich and her husband Steve of Dracut, MA, brother Jim Conley and his wife Lisa of Dracut, MA, brother Harold Conley and his wife Mary of Nashua, NH, his nieces and nephews, Alycia Cluff, Alyson Cluff, Cameron Conley, Tyler Conley, Brianna Conley, and great nephew Rowan McLaughlin. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 4, from 4 until 7 PM followed by Services at 7 PM.
