SARASOTA, FL - Maurice P. "Moe" Cote, Jr., age 48, a resident of Sarasota, FL and former Lowell resident died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Florida. He was the husband of Heather Newell.
He was born in Lowell on June 6, 1970 and was a son of Maurice P. Cote, Sr. and Lorraine M. (Brabant) Cote of Lowell. He received his education in Lowell and Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School. He also attended Boston College.
Moe proudly served in the United States Army during the Gulf War.
Moe worked for many years as a roofer.
He was a talented artist, especially when it came to tattoos. He was also an avid gamer and loved the ocean.
In addition to his parents, Moe is survived by his daughter, Lyndsay Cote and her husband Sean Bomil of Billerica; his son, Jaryd Cote of Lowell; his grandson, Zacery Bomil; his stepson, J.D. Newell of FL; his sister, Alisha Hines of Lowell; his brother, Brian Cote of Lowell; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Moe's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
