Maureen M. Regan

Lowell

Maureen M. (Driscoll) Regan, age 80, a Lowell resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond F. Regan who passed away in 2004.

She was born in Dorchester, on July 3, 1942, and was a daughter of the late  Frederick J. And Mary C. (Morris) Driscoll.

Prior to her retirement, Maureen was employed for 31 years as a costumer service representative by the former New England Telephone Company.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.

In her free time Maureen enjoyed playing card games with her family, especially Rummy Kube and going to the casinos, especially to the Seminole Casino in Immokalee, FL, the Oxford Casio in Oxford, ME and Encore Boston Harbor in Boston.  She also loved her winters in Naples, FL and her trips to Ireland and Italy.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Robert Vernon of Pembroke, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Jody Driscoll of Winston Salem, NC; five stepsons, Kevin Regan and his wife Deborah (Chandler), Gary Regan and his wife Pat (Elie) and Kenneth Regan and his wife Denise (Belanger), all of Pelham, NH, Bryan Regan of Dracut and David Regan and his wife Patty (Carroll) of Hudson, NH; four stepdaughters, Gail Tangard and her husband Don of Dracut, Sharon McCabe and her husband George of Lowell, Diane Chisholm and her husband Barry of Taylors, SC and Pamela Anderson and her husband Holmes of Atkinson, NH; 32 step grandchildren, 37 step great grandchildren; dear friends, Rosemary McOsker, with whom she lived and the McOsker and Dolan families; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Edward Driscoll and the stepmother of the late Raymond Regan.

As per Maureen’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Maureen’s Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday morning, October 28, at 11 AM in St. Michael Church.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: St. Michael St. Vincent de Paul Society, 543 Bridge St., Lowell, MA 01850.
