Mary C. Sullivan ... former Centralville resident, 94

Miss Mary C. Sullivan died Sunday August 22 at a local nursing home after a short illness. She was born on November 12, 1909 in Lowell, the daughter of the late John and Clara (Pardoe) Sullivan.
Miss Sullivan received her early education at St. Michael's School and graduated from Lowell High School. She was employed as a secretary for the Massachusetts Department of Education in Boston for over 40 years retiring in 1974. Until a few years ago she was a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell and a life long communicant of St. Michael Church.
Recently she resided at Meadow Lodge Assisted Living in North Chelmsford and prior to that Summer Place in Chelmsford.
She was a member of the Massachusetts Retired State, County and Municipal Employees Association, The League of Catholic Women, and was a former member of the Middlesex Women's Club. In earlier years she enjoyed traveling, reading and sewing.
She is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Brian (Peggy) Perrot of Tyngsboro, Noreen Courtney of Greenville NH and Mrs. James (Kathy) Rourke of Lowell; a sister-in-law Mary I. Sullivan of Chelmsford, great nieces and nephews Mrs. Patrick (Maggie) McAuley, Myra, Ciara and Courtney McAuley all of Lake Forest CA,
Michael and Bridget Courtney of Greenville NH, and Sean, Ryan, Katie, Meghan, Jack and Ava Rourke all of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Sister Noreen Sullivan O.P., John, James, George, Robert, Leo, Thomas and William Sullivan.
