Mary A. Muldoon

LOWELL - Mary A. "Aunt Mary" Muldoon, 95 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died peacefully on Monday morning at D'Youville Life and Wellness Center.

Born on November 20, 1918, she was a daughter of the late James and Nora (Lynch) Muldoon and received her education in the Lowell schools. Mary worked tirelessly in the Lowell Mills for many years. Having never had a license, nor drove a car, Mary walked or took the bus everywhere. She shared her time and escapades with her many nieces and nephews who had a story to share of their beloved "Aunt Mary".

Mary is survived by her nieces Betty Ann Muldoon of Lowell, Diane Fadden and her partner Richard Schiripo of Dracut, Ann Marie Flynn and her husband Michael of Dracut, Patricia Bulloch of Florida, Noreen Dows and her husband Greg of New Mexico; her nephews, Terrance McCarthy and his wife Kathleen of Lowell, John Muldoon and his wife Nancy of Lowell and many great nieces and nephews.

Mary was also the sister of the late John Muldoon, Viola McCarthy and Catherine Fadden and Aunt of the late Sharon Muldoon, James, Edward and Patrick McCarthy.
