Dracut – Mary L. (Rousseau) McNamara, age 89, widow of James F. McNamara, a resident of Dracut, died unexpectedly at Tufts Medical Center on Saturday April 23, 2011.
Mary was born in Lowell on January 29, 1922 a daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Doucette) Rousseau. She was graduate of Lowell High School. Mary was active in
St. Rita’s Cadets. During WWII she worked for Atlantic Parachute Company sewing parachutes and was very proud of her job. She worked for her husband James at their family business, James F. McNamara Real Estate. Mary was an avid bingo player. She was a communicant of St. Francis Parish for many years.
Survivors include four daughters and three sons in law, Karen and George Sullivan of Andover, MA, Kathleen Jozokos of Windham, NH, Debra and David Unger of Danville, NH, Jayne and Randall Burne of Pelham, NH; ten grandchildren, Tara and her husband Gregory Kanevski, Erinne and her husband Michael Moran, James and his wife Mary Jane Jozokos, David and his wife Karyn Jozokos, Jesse and his wife Judie Jozokos, Deron and his wife Chrissy Jozokos, Christiann and her fiancé David Caillouette, Arielle Unger, Matthew Burne, Kelly Burne; twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Claire Panazuk of Methuen,; four sisters in law, Janet Rousseau, Esther Rousseau, Edna McNamara, Agnes Pierce; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mena Logan, Henry Rousseau, Al Rousseau, Joseph Rousseau, Rose Boucher, Paul Rousseau, Beatrice Verville, and Herve Rousseau.
