Mary C. Lynch

Lowell - Mary C. (Mitsakos) Lynch, beloved wife of John J. Lynch, Sr., died Thursday October 21, 2010, at her Centralville residence with her family by her side. She was 75.
Mary was born in Haverhill on December 23, 1934, a daughter of the late William and Irene (Nicholas) Mitsakos.
Prior to her retirement Mary was employed as a counselor at the Rotenburg School of Chelmsford.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, and was a volunteer at St. Michael School. Mary held membership in the League of Catholic Women.
She enjoyed crafts, and was a master at crocheting and knitting. Mary was an expert seamstress who made clothes for family and friends. She took pleasure in cooking and baking for her family. An avid reader she always had a new novel she was immersed in.
Surviving her besides her husband are two children and their spouses, Mark. P. and Mary E. Lynch, Maureen and Paul F. Ducharme all of Lowell; three grandchildren, Mark P. Lynch, Jr. and his wife Alysha, Erin A. Lynch, Paul P. Ducharme; an aunt Beatrice Coutois of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John J. Lynch, Jr. who died in 1981, and sister of the late Nicholas Mitsakos and Sally Ann Douris.
