Mary E. Hebert

September 29, 1951 — February 19, 2010

Lowell - Mary E. (Golden) Hebert, a Lowell resident beloved wife of Robert M. Hebert, Sr., with whom she was married to for 40 years, died Friday at the Brigham and Women's Hospital following an extended illness. She was 58.
Mary was born in Lowell, on September 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Peter A. Sr. and Aura (Motard) Golden.
Earlier in her life Mary was employed in the human resources department of Wang Labs and held similar roles in other local businesses. She was a member of the "Gala Girls" of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved to spend her summer nights watching the games. Most of all she cherished her grandchildren and treasured the time spent with them.
Mary recently took part in a new program at Brigham and Women's Hospital in donating prosthetics to Haiti. She was the first person to donate to this program.
Surviving her besides her husband are three children and their spouses, Robert M. Jr, and Samantha Hebert of Bradford, NH, Laurie and Mark Thibeault of Pelham, NH, Cynthia and Daniel Callahan of Lowell; six grandchildren, Joseph and Jennifer Hebert, Mark, Nathan and Holly Thibeault, Connor Callahan; sisters and brothers and their spouses, Jim and Barbara Golden of Dracut, Lenny and Linda Golden of Pelham, NH, Linda Buckjune of Lowell, Roseanne Bourassa, Kathleen and Tom Nichols all of Tyngsboro, William and Audrey Golden of Apex, NC, Lilly and Mark Cibulski of Billerica; a brother in law Richard Hebert of Sebastian, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Peter A. Golden, Jr.
