Dracut – Mary M. (Ford) Gumbris, widow of John F. Gumbris, a Dracut resident, passed away peacefully on Monday April 2, 2012, at the D'Youville Senior Care facility in Lowell following a period of declining health. She was 91.
Mary was born in Lowell on June 23, 1920 a daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Regan) Ford.
Mary was a homemaker who doted on her family, as they were central in her life.
She was a communicant of St. Francis Parish in Dracut.
Survivors include her three daughters and two sons in law, Sandra and Thomas Sheridan of Buffalo, TX, Carol and Jerry Davidson of Dracut, Mary Brady of Lowell; five grandchildren, Thomas Sheridan, Ryan Sheridan, Scott Davidson, John Davidson, Courtney Murphy; eight great grandchildren, Nikki Sheridan, James Sheridan, Kayla Davidson, Adam and Abigail Davidson, James, William, and Finn Murphy. Mary was the grandmother of the late Daniel Sheridan, mother in law of the late John Brady, and sister of the late Alice Halloran, and Virginia Fligg.
