Mary Ann (Bergeron) Crete, 69, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston following a long courageous fight with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Roland R. "Butch" Crete, Jr., with whom she would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2016.
Born in Lowell on June 18, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Leo A. and Phyllis (Rodrigues) Bergeron.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1965.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Raytheon Corp. of Andover as an inspector.
Mary Ann enjoyed knitting as well as playing Keno and Mahjong.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
In addition to her husband Butch, she leaves a sister, Betty Rogers and her husband Jack of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Joseph Bergeron of Lowell and Leo Bergeron and his wife Donna of Pepperell; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Priscilla LeBlanc of Pelham, NH, Ann and Denny Thompson of Nokomis, FL and JoAnn Crete of Auburn, NH; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. She was a sister-in-law of the late Philip Crete.
