Naples, Maine - Mary M. (St. John) Bergeron, a resident of Naples, Maine, formerly of Dracut passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. She was 85.
Born in Lowell on March 15, 1932, Mary was a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Margaret (Usher) St. John.
She was married to the late Adrien "Pete" Bergeron, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage at the time of his death on April 11, 1994.
Raised and educated in Lowell, Mary was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of '49. Upon graduation, she worked as an office manager with the former Cawley Fuel Company. Mary was also employed at the University of Lowell in the cafeteria. Following her retirement,
She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
Mary volunteered as a foster grandmother at the Brookside School in Dracut.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham, NH until she went to live with her daughter Mary in Naples, ME a few years ago.
Mary is survived by three children and their spouses, Peter and Dorothy Bergeron of Pelham, NH, Mary and Peter Casey of Naples, ME and Robert Bergeron of Dracut; five grandchildren and their spouses, Danielle and Greg Sullivan of Medfield, Angela and Brian O'Neill of Wilmington, Michael and Jessica Bergeron of Mason, NH, Joseph Bergeron of Dracut and Matthew Casey of Naples, ME; four great grandchildren, Chase and Conor Sullivan, Hanna Bergeron and Mallory O'Neill; two sisters, Lorraine Mullin and Patricia Renaud, both of Pelham, NH; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and his wife, Edward and Lorraine St. John, and two brothers in law, George Mullin and Frank Renaud.
Mary's family would like to thank the Bridgton Health Care Center for the compassion and kindness shown to Mary while under their care.
Services - Relatives and friends are invited to Mary's Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Friday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, 12 Main St. Pelham, NH. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
