DRACUT – Mary R. (Golden) Beck, 83, a Dracut resident, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Lowell General Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Beck, Sr.
Born in Lowell on November 9, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Francis X. Golden, Sr. and Margaret M. (Bowery) Golden.
Mary was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1948 and was a lifelong communicant of St. Michael Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Beck, Jr. and his wife Phyllis G. of Tyngsboro; her grandchildren, Eric M. and Jillian L. Beck of Tyngsboro; a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Raymond Poitras and Eileen Golden, both of Lowell, and Maureen Golden of Pelham, NH; also many nieces and nephews. The last of seven children, she was predeceased by Thomas A. Golden, Sr., Francis X. "Buddy" Golden, Jr., Bernard B. "Ben" Golden, Margaret F. "Peggy" Poitras, Rosalie M. "Tootsie" Nugent and Eileen A. Doucette.
