Mary D. Ambrose

Mary Drina Ambrose was born on August 30, 1927 and died on January 11, 2009. Mary was survived by two loving daughters, Tonya and Michele, two granddaughters Drina and Xioudan and one grandson Jarod. Mary had 7 great grandchildren that loved her very much. Mary was the former post commander for the American Legion Auxiliary in Sacramento. She was a long time auxiliary member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars in Sacramento. Mary retired from the South Lake Tahoe Public Utilities District after 25 years. Mary was a world traveler, and loved to experience new things in life. She was instantly like by people she met and leaves many friends behind. Mary missed her husband of 26 years the most, Don Ambrose, after he passed away in February of 2004. She was one of a kind leader, a patriot, charismatic, and a true lady. She loved us.
