Mary Alice (Lessard) Bolduc, 90, a Dracut resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Arbors in Dracut, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Hilaire Bolduc, with whom she enjoyed 67 years of marriage.
Born on February 7, 1935 in Quebec City, P.Q., Canada, she was the daughter of the late Dominique and Bertha (Drolet) Lessard.
Mary Alice cherished her time and memories growing up on her family farm in Canada, often recounting her favorite times being spent at their sugar shack during maple syrup season, indulging on her favorite sweet, maple syrup.
Moving to the United States in May of 1964, her and Hilaire raised five boys as a devoted stay at home Mom. She dedicated her life to her children ensuring their well-being and happiness. She was selfless in her role as Mother and Wife, putting everyone else’s needs before her own. As a faithful Catholic, she was devoted to her parish and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved spending time gardening and decorating her front yard. She enjoyed the many road trips she and Hilaire had with their friends throughout the United States and Canada and especially the winter vacations they spent in Florida with family and dear friends.
However, her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. She loved all the occasions, parties and holidays when everyone would be together.
She is survived by her children, Gerard J. Bolduc and his wife, Cathleen of Nashua, NH, Denis J. Bolduc of Hooksett, NH and Steven V. Bolduc and his wife, Kristeen of Pepperell; her ten grandchildren, Jason, Robert, Scott, Alexis, Curtis, Philip, Jessica, Andrew, Joshua and Emily; her seven great-grandchildren, Cole, Emma, Alissandra, Julian, Emma Susan, Dylan and Elliott; her daughters in-law, Diane Bolduc of Dracut and Susan Bolduc of Dracut; her sister, Suzanne Gauthier of St. George, P.Q., Canada; as well as many other extended family and friends.
Sadly, Mary Alice was predeceased by her sons, Richard J. Bolduc, Michel L. Bolduc; her daughter-in-law, Louise Bolduc; her brothers, Paul Andre, Jean Claude, Marc Aurele and her sisters, Terese and Judith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alice’s Life Celebration on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 3 until 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
