Marlene (Chouinard) Vezina, a lifetime resident of Lowell, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family.
Born on July 6, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Isabelle (Lefebvre) Chouinard.
Surviving Marlene are her two daughters, Charlene "CJ" Enos and her fiancé Claudio Sousa of Hudson, NH, Pamela Keefe and her husband Stephen of Clermont, FL; five grandchildren, Tyler Keefe, Joseph Mollica, Jessica Keefe, Stephen D'Urso, Sean D'Urso; a sister Deborah Chouinard of Lowell; and many extended family and friends. She was also the sister of the late Sandra Kiernan and Daniel Chouinard.
Prior to her retirement Marlene was employed by Medtronics in Danvers, Mass. She loved to visit with family and friends, often connecting on Facebook. She was an avid Farmtown player and loved watching Hallmark Christmas movies. If she was not playing Farmtown or watching Christmas movies you could find her enjoying history documentaries. Marlene was a big fan of music some of her favorite singers include Celine Dion, John Denver and most of all Elvis. She had a collection of his music, movies and was thrilled to have visited Graceland.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marlene's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Church, 12 6th St. Lowell. Followed by burial in Lowell Cemetery. Donations in Marlene's memory may be made to the Lowell General Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA 01854.
