Marjorie A. (Clifford) McOsker

August 17, 1924 — January 21, 2016

Marjorie Anne (Clifford) McOsker, 91 passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 at D'Youville Manor with her family by her side.
She was the wife of Francis J. McOsker who passed away on November 25, 1991. Marjorie was born on August 17, 1924 in Lynn, MA and was the daughter of the late Timothy J. and Anna (Maguire) Clifford. She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School with the class of 1942.
Marjorie moved to Lowell in 1948 and resided with her husband Frank in Centralville section of the city. She and her family moved to Dracut in 1961 and after her husbands death moved to Nashua, NH where she resided for the past 15 years.
Marjorie worked for the City of Lowell Police Department as an officer assigned to the Tenth Street School. She worked for the State of Massachusetts in the Probation Department at Lowell District as an administrative assistant for 20 years until her retirement in 1989.
Marjorie was a member of the League of Catholic Women, Mt Pleasant Golf Club and St. Mary of the Assumption Sodality in Dracut, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell and Resurrection Parish in Nashua, NH.
Marjorie loved bowling, skiing, golfing, swimming, horseback riding, and most of all ballroom dancing.
Marjorie loved spending time with her family. She was a constant presence in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and she will be missed by all for her loving spirit and kindness.
She is survived by her five children. Michael F. McOsker and his wife Elizabeth (Gaudette) of Harwich, MA, Maureen Dargie and her husband Jerome of Nashua, NH, Sharon R. Tamposi and her husband Samuel Jr. of Nashua, NH, Timothy C. McOsker and his wife Jane (Dolliver) of Stoddard, NH and Anne M. Horvath of Norfolk, MA, 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her brother John T. Clifford of Concord, NH and sisters-in-law Rosemary McOsker of Lowell, MA, Sr. Charles Francis O.P. of St. Catharine, KY and Mary McOsker of Lowell, MA. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Clifford of Peabody, MA.
