Marjorie A. (Cook) (Cullen) Cutter

March 26, 1940 — August 30, 2016

Marjorie A. (Cook) (Cullen) Cutter, 76, a resident of Dracut for the last 10 years, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a long illness, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late James T. Cutter, Sr., who died July, 2002.
Born in Lowell on March 26, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Mary Josephine (Teague) Cook.
Mrs. Cutter was a graduate of St. Michael Parochial School and Lowell High School, Class of 1957.
She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Dick Lepine Real Estate and also served as a Tax Examiner for the IRS.
A longtime resident of the Christian Hill neighborhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, she also resided for a time at Lake Belleau in Wakefield, NH.
Mrs. Cutter was a communicant of St. Michael Church and served as a Eucharist Minister for St. Francis Church in Dracut where she delivered Communion to the homebound. A devout Catholic, Marjorie went to Catholic Mass daily. She had a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother and the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy. She was also a Hospice volunteer.
Her grandparents emigrated from Ireland and she was proud of her Irish Heritage.
Her family and friends will always remember Marjorie's indomitable sense of humor.
She leaves seven children, Mary E. (Cullen) Fallon and her husband Dan of Durham, ME, Patrick J. Cullen of Weymouth, Kathleen E. Cullen-Lutter and her husband Edward of Lowell, James T. Cutter, Jr. and his wife Renee of Chino, CA, Peter J. Cullen of Dracut, Kevin M. Cutter of Rescue, CA and Tara P. (Cullen) Emerson and her husband Joseph of Dracut; two brothers, Robert Cook and his wife Della of Lowell and George Cook of Portsmouth, NH; a sister-in-law, Cynthia Cook of Greenwood Lake, NY; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews among whom is her beloved Goddaughter, Kerry Coleman of Pelham, NH. She also leaves many dear friends including Carole Barrett and her late husband Jack of Dracut. She was the mother of the late Terrence J. Cullen and sister of the late Jonathan T. Cook. Marjorie was a long term friend of Bill W.
