LOWELL - Marion T. (Tardiff) Thibeault, age 90, a lifelong resident of Dracut died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Thibeault, Jr., to whom she was married for 62 years prior to his death in 2012.
She was born in Dracut on August 26, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Andrew and Grace (Dawson) Tardiff. She received her education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School.
Prior to her retirement, Marion was employed for many years by Sullivan Brothers Printers in Lowell. Earlier in her career she was employed by Courier-Citizen, also in Lowell.
She was a longtime communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church (the former St. Therese Church) in Dracut.
Marion's greatest joy in life was spending time in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Judy Desmarais and her husband Raymond of Dracut; her son, Ed Thibeault and his partner Javier Gonzalez of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Robles of Dracut, Jaime Sras and her husband Teddy of Rindge, NH, and Jessica Desmarais and her fiancé Chris Udeh-Ubaka of Dracut; ten great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kyra, Mikey, Kaiden, Kamren, Kyler, Karter, Khalia, Kaz, and Kashton; two sisters, Claire Levesque of Dracut and Ann Martino of Oro Valley, AZ; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Paula Jean Thibeault and sister of the late Raymond Tardiff.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marion's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Friday, April 9th from 4:00 until 8:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30am at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114.
