Marion Savard

Marion (Kuszek) Richer Savard, 98, wife of the late Leo Richer and the late Alfred J. Savard, a resident of Indigo Pines in Hilton Head, SC and a long time resident of Lowell, passed away on
April 29, 2009 at Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head, SC.
She was born January 28, 1911, a daughter of the late Michael and Aniela (Niedzuski) Kuszek.
She was a communicant of St Francis by the Sea Catholic Church in Hilton Head and of St Michael Church in Lowell, where she was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. She was also a member of the Lowell Senior Citizen Club, and AARP. Marion had also volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program at St. Michael Church.
Prior to her retirement, Marion was employed for 30 years as a stitcher at the former Lowell Lingerie.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine A Dufour and her husband Normand B. Dufour of Hilton Head, SC., Five grandchildren, Leslie Ann Waters and her husband Dr, David Waters of Norfolk, VA, Susan E Caglioni and her husband Manrico of Redding CT, Brian J Dufour and his wife Michele of Collegeville, PA, Nicole A Harnett and her husband James, David P. Dufour and his wife Robin. Eleven great-grandchildren, Laura Waters, Stephen Waters, Thomas Waters, Daniele Caglioni, Carolina Caglioni, Mitchell Dufour, Dylan Dufour,
Quinn Harnett, Gillian Harnett, Maisie Dufour, and Ruby Dufour.
