Marion (Meserve) Keefe, 80, of Dracut, MA passed away peacefully Friday at the Radius-Northwood HealthCare Center in Lowell. She was born in Cambridge, MA on December 29, 1930 to Charles & Beatrice (Bolduc) Meserve.
Marion spent her early years in Billerica, MA and graduated from the Howe High School. She married John F. Keefe, the former Dracut Postmaster and spent many hours listening and dancing to his band, the "Jack Keefe Orchestra." She loved music, gardening and dancing, and with her husband won The Polka Dance Contest at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in 1949.
In addition to her husband, Marion was preceded in death by her son Jackie, two granddaughters Elena and Angelica Guzman, two sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by her sister Anna Gordon of Billerica; three daughters Maureen A. Johnson and her husband Mike of Lowell, Eileen Guzman of Concord N.H. and Marianne Keefe-Goscila and her husband Kenneth of Dracut; six grandchildren, Jennifer Parent of Lowell, Michelle Parent of Treasure Island, Fl, John F. Keefe of Dracut and Marisela, Kaleena and Gabriela Guzman of Concord NH; a great granddaughter Alayna Nappa/Keefe; Brother and sister-in-law Tom and Joan Keefe of Dracut; very close friend Shirley O'Malley of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.
