Marilyn B. (Boston) Lepine, 85, a resident of Lowell, died Saturday November 5, 2011 after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Roland E. Lepine.
Born in Palmyra, Maine on September 22, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Easton N. and Florice (Nickerson) Boston.
Marilyn was a very talented knitter, having knit for a distinguished New York designer. One of her specialties was the Irish knit sweater.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Lepine and his wife, Lauren of Lowell, Joseph Lepine of Lowell and Mark Lepine and his wife, Theresa of Chicago, IL; eleven daughters, Linda Lash of Dracut, Diane Leyczek and her husband John of FL, Bonnie DeLuca of Lowell, Elaine Grout and her husband, Alan of Chelmsford, Roseanne Johnson and her husband, Robert of Tewksbury, Donna Tgibedes and her husband, Stephen of Dracut, Karen Hayhurst and her husband, Vincent of Dracut, Judy Keyes of Dracut, Sandra Bowers and her husband, Sean of Lowell, Anne Bowers of Dracut, Brenda Crowley and her husband, Christopher of Tyngsboro; a brother, Glenn Boston and his wife Evelyn of Poway, CA; two sisters, Errolyn Lizotte and Donna Cranmer and her husband, Ed, all of of PA; 27 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Albert Boston.
