LOWELL - Marie G. (Donahue) (Smith) Soucy, of Lowell, passed away at the Wilmington Health Care Center on Friday, August 6, 2010.
Born in Lowell on May 5, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bernadette (O'Regan) Donahue.
She will be remembered as a caring mother and grandmother who would do anything for anyone.
Marie is survived by her son Frederick Smith and his fianc�e Terry Ivers of Lowell; three grandsons, Frederick Smith, Jr. and his wife Danielle, Brian and Jeffrey Smith; two great granddaughters, Maiya and Carly Smith; son, Mark Richard and his wife Tammy of Portland, ME; a brother, Charles Donahue and his wife Ann; two sisters, Bernadette Campbell and her husband John and Carol Roper and her husband Ronald; a brother-in-law, John Fader; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves a dear friend, John Melanson, and was a sister of the late Cecilia Fader and dear friend of the late Paul Melanson.
