Marie A. (Laurencelle) Pinard

DRACUT - Marie A. (Laurencelle) Pinard, age 76, a longtime resident of Dracut died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert P. Pinard, with whom she would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in July.

She was born in Lowell on February 3, 1945, and was one of nine children of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Lambert) Laurencelle. She was a graduate of the former St. Louis Academy in Lowell.

Prior to her retirement, Marie was employed for many years as an administrative assistant by FI Office Inc. in Billerica. Earlier in her career, she was employed for many years as a care giver by Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell and then by Kenoza Manor in Haverhill.

She was a very religious woman and was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.

Marie was an avid and enthusiastic bingo player and she enjoyed bowling and going to the casinos, especially in Las Vegas. She also enjoyed her time at the beach, especially at Old Orchard Beach, ME and Lauderdale By the Sea, FL. However, her greatest joy was spending time in the company of her loving family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five sons, Robert A. Pinard and his wife Kimberly of Dracut, James M. Pinard and his wife Jennifer of Hudson, NH, Michael A. Pinard of Dracut, Glen A. Pinard and his wife Kimberly of Bedford, NH, and Daniel J. Pinard of Saugus; three grandchildren, Dillon Pinard of Hudson, NH, and Nicole Pinard and Ashlyn Pinard, both of Dracut; two brothers, Raymond Laurencelle and his wife Elaine of Tyngsboro and David Laurencelle and his wife Janet of Dracut; four sisters, Janet Dube, Diane Berton and her husband Raymond, and Denise Barbin, all of Dracut, and Susan Malette and her husband Scott of Hudson, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late George Laurencelle and Richard Laurencelle.

It being her wish, funeral services were private.
