LOWELL – Marie D. (Reardon) Morris, a resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at a local health care facility. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Morris, Sr.
Born in Lowell on January 7, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sarah (Bowen) Reardon.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the senior clerk by the Health Department for the City of Lowell.
She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Mrs. Morris is survived by two sons, Edward L. Morris, Jr. and his wife Joanne (Mulligan) and David A. Morris and his wife Olivia (Hall), all of Lowell; five grandchildren, Jonalyn Busam and her husband Vincent, Shana Morris, Bethany Morris and her husband Kevin Costello, John Morris and Edward L. Morris, III; five great grandchildren, Eamon, Quinn and Adeline Costello, Devin and Grant Busam; a brother-in-law, Harold Berard of W. Yarmouthport; a sister-in-law, Anne Reardon of Lowell; also many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Edward Reardon, Dorothy Travierso and Geraldine “Gerry” Berard.
