Marie A. (Evicci) Mattote, a resident of Haverhill, but formerly of Lowell, died on Sunday June 5, 2016, following a lengthy illness. She was 88.
Born in Lowell on August 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Jane (Boisvert) Evicci.
Prior to her retirement, Marie was employed as an assembler in the shoe manufacturing industry.

Marie loved the beach. Her and her sisters would often take Sunday drives along the coast to visit her daughters and grandchildren in New Hampshire. They would stop for Lobster rolls at Browns and sometimes test the luck at the Seabrook dog track.
