Marie Amanda Marchand, of Dracut, 28, died unexpectedly on March 23, 2015 in Leominster.
She was born in Lowell on May 1, 1986, a daughter of Louis E. Marchand of Dracut and Debrah L. Fairbanks- Marchand of Lowell.
Marie attended the C.G. McDonough City Magnet School, K-7, after relocating to Milford, NH, she graduated from Milford High School. She then received an associate degree from N.H. Community College.
Marie started playing the piano at age 5, and continued playing beautiful classical music up until the day she died. She was also a poet, and had a special love of nutrition and was good at giving out healthy advice.
Besides her parents and many friends, Marie is survived by her two brothers, Christopher Fairbanks of Lowell and Benjamin Marchand and his girlfriend Joanna Vincent of Merrimac; her niece, Ana Marie Fairbanks; her maternal grandparents, Wayne Fairbanks and his wife Nancy of Groveland and Linda Brunelle and her husband Andre of Bonita Springs, FL; aunts and uncles, Dolores Kirby and her husband Jim, her Godmother, Annette Marchand and her companion Tom Raiche, Lorraine Fraser and her companion Sherman Willis, Michelle Vachon and her husband Harvey, Jody Farinha and her husband Darrell, Jennifer Moore and her husband Jerry, Renee LaFazia and her husband Dave, Darlene Pawlik and her husband Mark and Laureen Elwell and her husband Fred; also several cousins.
She was the granddaughter of the late Ernest and Marie Marchand and niece of the late Aimee Brunelle.
