LOWELL- Marie "Pauline" (Duval) Levasseur, 91, a longtime resident of Dracut died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Robert V. Levasseur, Sr.
She was born in Lowell on March 15, 1925, and was the daughter of the late John and Moza (Ouimet) Duval. She received her education in Lowell schools.
Prior to her retirement, Pauline was employed for many years as an admitting clerk by the former St. John Hospital in Lowell. Earlier in life, Pauline and her husband were the owners of Robert's Restaurant in Lowell.
Her greatest joy was spending time in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting, reading and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Montreal.
Pauline is survived by her three children, Robert V. Levasseur, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Alton, NH, Pamela M. Rivera and her husband Larry, Jr. of Lowell, and Judith M. MacClellan and her husband Donald of Franklin, MA; six grandchildren, Michelle Rivera, Larry Rivera, III, Marc Levasseur, Andrew Levasseur, Philip MacClellan, and Sarah MacClellan; two great grandchildren, Tristan Levasseur and Sawyer Levasseur; and several nieces and nephews.
