LOWELL- Marie A. Drouin, 45, companion of John E. Sheehy, a resident of Pawtucketville section of the city, died Monday, July 5 at the Lowell General Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on July 24, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Claire A. (St. Gelais) Drouin. She was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church and had received her education at St. Louis Parochial School. She was a graduate of Lowell High School where she was a Girl Officer.
Prior to her illness, Marie had been employed as a switchboard operator at Joan Fabrics.
Surviving her besides her companion of 17 years are two sons, Taylor Leathers and Dylan Sheehy, both of Lowell; a daughter, Casey Leathers of Lowell; a step-son, John E. Sheehy III and a step-daughter, Christina Sheehy, both of Dracut and also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
