Marian T. Staniec

Pelham, NH - Marian T. "Spike" Staniec, 88, widower of Dora (Simard) Staniec, a resident of Pelham, NH, died Monday March 19, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
He was born in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, on December 8, 1918, a son of the late Thomas A. and Marianna (Szynczuk) Staniec.
Mr. Staniec was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy. He was employed for 36 years as a sheet metal technician for the Raytheon Corporation. Mr. Staniec was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Pelham, NH.
Spike enjoyed gardening and doing handiwork around his property, he had a love for animals, especially his cats and dogs.
Survivors include, two sons and a daughter in law, Thomas F. and Patricia Staniec, Paul A. Staniec, all of Pelham; three siblings John Staniec of Yardly, PA, Jawiga Cimoch of Trenton, NJ, Anthony Staniec of FL; two grandchildren, Michael Staniec, Heather Judd; four great grandchildren, David Judd, Robert Judd, Stephanie Judd, Michaela Staniec; a dear friend Cathy Voyer of VT; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Eugene and Joseph Staniec and Janina Cimoch.
