DRACUT - Marguerite (Garneau) Desrosiers, 87, a resident of Dracut, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in a local nursing home. She was the widow of Joseph A. Desrosiers.
Born in Lowell on September 30, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Mederic and Elizabeth (Maheu) Garneau.
Prior to her retirement in 1976, Mrs. Desrosiers was employed by the Prince Packaging Company of Lowell.
She was a member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut. Her hobbies included crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andre and Charlotte (Castine) Desrosiers of Nashua, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Mark Glynn of Salem, NH; a brother, Leo Garneau and his wife Ann of Lowell; three sisters, Jeanne Gagne and Therese Rousseau and her husband Lucien, all of Dracut and Julie Blanchette of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Simone Garneau of Lowell; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Amedee Garneau, Flossie Grondine and Lucien Garneau.
