Margaret A. Marriott

Margaret A. (DeMichelis) Marriott, 94, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Northwood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late William S. Marriott, Jr., until his passing in 2003.

She was born in Lowell on August 25, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Modesto DeMichelis and Annie (Tennerini) DeMichelis. She was raised in Lowell and attended local schools. Before retiring, Margaret worked for Kronos in Chelmsford.

Margaret was an avid bowler, loved bingo, and her word searches. She enjoyed trips to Hampton beach and loved to cook Italian meals for her family. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a good friend to many.

Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Beatrice M. Quirk and her husband, Jim of Virginia, Holly M. Tellier and her husband, David of Texas and Lisa A. Lyko and her husband, John of Pelham, NH; her seven grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late William S. Marriott, III, grandmother of the late Joshua Marriott and sister of the late Chester DeMichelis, Rinaldo DeMichelis, Comie DeMichelis, Antoniette DeBerardinis, Mary Brunelle, Lucy Klemola, Theresa Ann Ozella and Josephine Feehan.

The family would also like to thank the nursing staff and aides on B-wing at Northwood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for their exceptional care of Margaret in her time of need.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Margaret’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2 until 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Lowell. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
