DRACUT - Margaret S. (Eklund) DeLisle, 87, a long time Dracut resident, died Tuesday evening, September 29, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. DeLisle.
Born in Saugus, MA on September 21, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Paul) Eklund.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.
She is survived by her son, Raymond J. DeLisle, Jr. and his wife Maria Ellena of Alameda, CA; her daughter, Nancy R. Cowan of Dracut; a sister, Lillian Kinghorn and her husband Donald of Dracut; five loving grandchildren, Tammy Oliver, Cindy Polewarczyk and her lifelong partner Spiros Alemesis, Keri-Ann McGrade, Mark DeLisle and Lisa DeLisle; she also leaves thirteen beloved great grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of the late Sir Geoffrey W. Cowan who passed away on April 28, 2009.
