Obituary - Margaret Cronin
Concord, NH - Margaret (Massey) (Campbell) Cronin, 94, widow of Domenic J. Campbell, and Paul L. Cronin, a Concord, NH resident, formerly of Lowell, died peacefully Thursday afternoon at the Hospice House of Concord, NH.
She was born in Warrington, England on May 16, 1911, a daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Hughes) Massey.
In her earlier years Mrs. Cronin worked in the textile mills in Lowell. Later she married and happily raisied five children. By the time of her retirement she was the Resident Director for the YWCA in Lowell. She attended church regularly and had a strong faith. Some of Peggy's pastimes included dancing, animals and spending time with her family. People who knew her often described her as an angel on earth, with a caring gentle manner.
Survivors include twin sons and their wives, Walter R. and Eleanor Campbell of Londonderry, NH and Donald R. and Maureen Campbell of Tyngsboro; three daughters and two sons in law, Barbara M. Norrod of Battle Creek, MI, Gloria E. Lorman Kidwiler and her husband Charles of Palm Bay, FL and Carol L. and Cal Brinson of Concord, NH; two sisters Mrs. Edith Cutrumbes of Chelmsford and Mrs. Elsie Porter of No. Chelmsford; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Gerald Lorman and sister of the late Emily Buckley.
