Margaret M. Colburn

Daytona, FL - Margaret Colburn, 91, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, passed away on July 15, 2012.
She was born on August 9, 1920 in Agawam, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Walter and Rachel (Ashley) Tatro. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Colburn.
Prior to moving to Florida, she and her family lived in Dracut, Massachusetts.
Margaret worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone in Lowell, Massachusetts for 26 years. She was a member of the Dracut Grange and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She loved to cruise and spend time with her loving family. She is survived by two children, Arthur Colburn of Daytona Beach, Florida and Susan Ladd of West Townsend, Massachusetts. In addition, she leaves two grandchildren, Timothy and Kasey Ladd.
A funeral mass was held for Margaret at the Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange, Florida on July 21, 2012. The burial was held in Dracut, Massachusetts.
