Marcel R. Delisle

Dracut- Marcel R. "Mike" Delisle, 82, a Dracut resident, husband of Martha Y. (Perrault) Delisle, to whom he was married for 54 years, died Thursday August 10, 2006 at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Haverhill on September 18, 1923, he was a son of Clara and Edmond Delisle.
He was a graduate of Haverhill High School, NYA School in Quaddy Village, Maine, and Burdette College in Boston. Mr. Delisle served in The United States Army Air Force during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a buyer for the former Western Electric later known as Lucent Technologies. He also worked in the pro shop at Hickory Hill Golf Course.
He was a member of the Dracut Knights of Columbus and the D'Youville Manor Men's Guild. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and reading.
Surviving him besides his wife are a daughter, Renee Psoinos and her husband George; three sons, Mark Delisle and his wife Patricia (Rogers), Paul Delisle and his wife Maryann (Szymanski) and Stephen Delisle and his wife Karen (Styskal); 7 grandchildren, Kerry Slattery and her husband Charles, Valerie and Kristina Psoinos, Cavan and Meghan Delisle and Ian and Ross Delisle; 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Connor Slattery; 2 brothers, Conrad Delisle of Westfield and Norman Delisle of No. Hampton, NH; dear friends, Wendell and Yvette Iby of Lowell; Many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Claire Duff of Florida.
