Madeline R. (Farrell) Reynolds

LOWELL - Madeline Rita (Farrell) Reynolds, 87 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry B. Reynolds, who died in 2009.

She was born in Lowell on February 27, 1930, and was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Duffy) Farrell. She received her early education at St. Michael's School in Lowell and then went on to graduate from the Academy of Notre Dame in 1948 in Tyngsboro MA.

After raising her children, Madeline proved it is never too late to fulfill your dreams. She earned her Associate's Degree in 1981 at Northern Essex College at the age of 51. She went on to work as a registered nurse for 28 years at Saint's Memorial Center. Madeline loved being a nurse and was always grateful and happy to be at work. She loved the hospital staff, especially her dear friend; Ann Goddard.

Madeline enjoyed reading, traveling and gardening. She was an avid Notre Dame and Boston sports fan.

Madeline is survived by her sons, Thomas Reynolds of St. Augustine, FL and Robert Reynolds of Lowell MA, her daughter Nancy Reynolds and companion Jack Curtis, and her daughter Martha Reynolds and her companion Paul Sanz who reside in Hudson, NH. Her grandsons; Tommy and Bobby Reynolds, of St. Augustine FL, her sister Ruthie Pentedemos of Tyngsboro, her sister-in-law, Ann Reynolds of Lowell, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Charles Reynolds, an infant son, John Reynolds, and Barbara Reynolds.

REYNOLDS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Madeline's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street in Lowell on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell at 11:00 AM.
