LOWELL - Luis D. Hernandez, 49, a resident of Lowell died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 1, 2017, just 13 days following the death of his father.
He was born in the Bronx, New York on September 26,1968, and was a son of the late Luis A. and Judith (Ramos) Hernandez. He received his education in Lowell schools.
Luis was a hard worker and a talented mechanical engineer when it came to electronics. He had been employed by several area electronics companies throughout the years.
He had a passion for car racing and he enjoyed listening to Latin Freestyle Music. His greatest joy came from spending time in the company of his family, especially his loving children and grandchildren.
Luis is survived by his two sons, Luis D. Hernandez, Jr. and his companion Sofia of Athol, MA and Luis D. Hernandez, III of Florida; his seven daughters, Tanya Dagraca and her husband Corrie of Nashua, NH, Deana Flowers and her husband Nathan of Kingston, NH, Kaitlyn Hernandez and her wife Stefanie of Fitchburg, Marianna Hernandez, Adriana Hernandez, Tatiana Hernandez, and Kristyana Hernandez, all of Florida; his grandchildren, Victoria, Novi, Emmy, and Analia; his brother, Carlos Hernandez; his two sisters, Myra Ortiz and her companion William Miranda, with whom he resided, and Maura Hernandez; his aunt, Carmen Gonzalez; his nephews and nieces, Jay Jay, Dereck, Krystal, Jessica, Jenissa, and Jasmin; his grand nephews and nieces, Devon, Amya, Jada, Davianna, Nasiah, Jayliah, Jizziah, Niah, Mariah, and Ethan; and several cousins, including MaryAnne Velazquez-Cotto and her husband Eddie Cotto and Joanne Velazquez and her fiance Jack Roman.
