Lugene A. "Luanne" Houston

Litchfield, NH

Luanne A. (Daigle) Houston, a resident of Litchfield, NH for more than 40 years, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family following a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Robert K. “Bob” Houston, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.


Luanne was born in Dracut on August 25, 1956. She was the youngest of five children and the daughter of the late Mary Isabelle (Green) and Ludger M. Daigle.


Luanne was a great person, mother and wife. She had a great smile and laugh that will be missed but not forgotten.


In addition to her husband Bob, Luanne is survived by her sons, Christopher Houston and his wife Kristin, Matthew Houston and his wife Alyssa and Craig Houston and his wife Jennifer; her grandchildren, Collin, Andrew, Grace, Noah and Molly; her brothers, Bob Daigle, Dave Daigle, Gary Daigle and his wife Diane; her nieces, Kellie Mungovan, Lisa Daigle and Melanie Jozokos and her husband Jay; her nephews, Rob Mungovan and his wife Shea, Keith Daigle, Kevin Daigle and his wife Debbie, Ryan Daigle and Kyle, Phil and John Houston; her great-nieces and nephews, Robbie, Cameron, Maddie, Ophelia, Jaylyn, Jaxson, Jynjer, Crosby, Emmy and Killian; her brothers-in-law, Bob Mungovan and Dave Houston and his wife Theresa; as well as many other family and friends.


She was the sister of the late Linda Mungovan.


Relatives and friends are invited to Luanne’s Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10 AM at ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Burial to follow in Richardson Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Luanne’s memory to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, npcf.us/donate/.
