OBITUARY
LOWELL - Louis T. "Pete" Lauzier, 76, a resident of Jaycee Place, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marie Irene (Atkinson) Lauzier who died in 1979 and the late Helen J. (Wotjas)(Maguire) Lauzier.
Born in Lowell on January 12, 1928, he was a son of the late Louis P. and Jeannette (Mercier) Lausier.
Mr. Lauzier served with the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
A carpenter by trade, for most of his life Mr. Lauzier was a self-employed finish carpenter. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the former Wang Labs of Lowell.
While living at Jaycee Place Mr. Lauzier was in charge of organizing resident functions. He enjoyed dancing and was an avid card player. He belonged to the Lowell Firefighters Club and AARP.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann-Marie and Paul Dalton of Dracut; three grandchildren, Marshall Dalton of Kentucky, Erin Dalton and Erik Dalton, both of Dracut; also several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was the brother of the late Blanche Fontaine, Rita Fontaine and Doris Lambert.
