LOWELL - Louis J. "Louie" Deveaux, 74, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Henry) Deveaux, to whom he was married for 27 years.
He was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on May 17, 1942, and was a son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Chaisson) Deveaux.
Prior to his retirement, Louie was employed for many years as a security guard by AlliedBarton Security Services in Billerica.
Louie was known for having large yard sales, loved spending time in the company of his family, enjoying good food, and was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the New England Patriots—GO PATS!!!
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Paul, Glen, and Tony and their families; his daughter, Krystal; his step-children, Kevin Klier, Kim (Surprenant) Brown; Karen (Surprenant) Walsh, and their families; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his 4 sisters affectionately known as Marie, Baba, Finn, and Jeanie and his step-son Kenny Klier.
