Louis N. Courtois

Louis N. Courtois a resident of Lowell passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 following a brief illness. He was 72.

Born in Lowell on December 24, 1948 he was a son of the late Eugene and Florence (Allie) Courtois.
Prior to his retirement Louis worked most of his life at Joan Fabrics as a machine operator. Following his retirement he worked and volunteered at the Lowell Senior Center where he would help with repairs, maintenance and visit with seniors when they were unable to get to the center.
Louis enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting memorabilia of Lowell and listening to oldies music. He and his late girlfriend Karen Hansen looked forward to visiting all of the local casinos whenever they had some time.

Survivors include his three children, Paula A. Eno of Nashua, NH Jaime L. Courtois of Nashua, NH, Alicia Tardiff of Woburn; four grandchildren, Joshua E. Courtois, Tabitha R. Courtois, Nathaniel R. Courtois, Leo W. Courtois; a sister Claire Grambo of WI; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to current gathering restrictions funeral services were private. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd UNIT 301, Framingham, MA 01701
