Born in Lowell on December 13,1931 he was the son of the late Thomas and Albina (Cote) Caron, and his stepmother the late Theresa Caron.
He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Lowell, MA. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, from February 1,1952 to January 31, 1956, having completed his basic training at Sampson AFB.

Louis is survived by and will be deeply missed by his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Donna and Roger McNulty with whom he resided; three Sons and a Daughter-in-Law, Normand and Patricia Caron, John Caron, and Stephen Caron all of Lowell; two Sisters, Theresa Coffee and Lisa Caron; one Brother and Sister-in-Law, Robert and Jackie Caron; one Brother-in-law, Normand (Mickey) Boucher; three Sisters-in-law, Joan Boucher, Paulette Boucher and Kathleen Caron; six Grandchildren and their significant others, whom he adored and was so proud of, Erica McNulty and Aaron Bagnell, Roger and Katie McNulty, Michael Caron and Kate Hanlon, Stephen Caron and Chelsea Petruzzelli, TJ Caron, and Shawn Caron; two Great Grandchildren who he also adored, Sophia Caron and Madelyn Kate McNulty and many Nieces and Nephews.
Louis was pre-deceased by his Son, David L. Caron, his Sisters Irene Goodner, Beatrice Perry and Brothers Jack and Richard Caron.
Louis and Pauline devoted their lives to their family, after Pauline's passing in 1986 at the age of 52 their family devoted their lives to taking care of Dad/Pepere, we had many family functions which he loved, he loved his family being around. We know our Mom is very proud of how well we cared for her Husband, Our Dad/Pepere.
Another one of his greatest joys was when we took him to Quebec a few years ago and he got to reconnect with an Aunt and some of his Cousins he hadn't seen in 60 years. He had never stopped talking about that trip, even bought a French dictionary so he could correspond via email with his cousins in French.
We will forever miss you both, Mom/Memere & Dad/Pepere.
We would like to thank the Veteran's Clinic in Lowell, MA (special thanks to Lisa R. who always checked in on him and cared so much), St. Joseph's Hosp. in Nashua, NH, Fairview Rehab in Hudson, NH and Courville Rehab in Nashua NH for the great care they gave to our Dad.
Per Louis' requests there will be no visiting hours.
A Celebration of Louis' life is being planned by his family at a later date.
